The main commemoration ceremony marking the 30th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide in the Netherlands took place on 11 July in The Hague.
The ceremony was organized by the Association of Srebrenica Genocide Survivors and the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
It was attended, among others, by representatives of the Government of the Netherlands, the Mayor of The Hague, ambassadors and representatives of more than 50 countries accredited in the Netherlands, as well as numerous citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Dutch friends of the country.
Speeches were delivered by genocide survivors, the Mayor of The Hague, Mr. Jan van Zanen, and the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Netherlands, Mr. Almir Šahović.
In his address, Ambassador Šahović once again emphasized the importance of continued remembrance of the Srebrenica genocide and warned of the dangers posed by the resurgence of radical and extremist forces that deny the genocide and glorify war criminals and their crimes.

U Hagu je 11. Jula 2025 godine, u organizaciji Udruženja preživjelih genocida i Ambasade Bosne i Hercegovine, održana centralna komemoracija 30 godina genocida u Srebrenici za Nizozemsku.
Komemoraciji su izmedju ostalih prisustvovali visoki predstavnici Vlade Nizozemske, gradonačelnik Haga, ambasadori i predstavnici više od 50 zemalja, kao i brojni gradjani i prijatelji Bosne i Hercegovine.
Tom prilikom, prisutnim su se obratili predstavnici preživjelih genocida, gradonačelnik Haga Jan van Zanen i ambasador Bosne I Hercegovine Almir Šahović.
U svom obraćanju, ambasador Šahović posebno naglasio značaj stalnog sječanja na genocid u Srebrenici, i upozorio na opasnosti koje dolaze od ponovnog radjanja radikanih i ekstremnih snaga koje negiraju genocid i veličaju ratne zločince i njihove zločine.
